SEIU Florida is a statewide labor organization that coordinates workers to advance economic and racial justice, immigration reform, and access to healthcare across Florida. It represents more than 55,000 active and retired workers in healthcare, public services, and property maintenance across the state. Members provide essential public services in hospitals, nursing homes, public schools, community colleges, municipal and county governments, malls, and universities. SEIU Florida is part of the national Service Employees International Union, which has over 2.1 million members and is described as the fastest-growing union in North America. The organization is based in Miramar, Florida.
