At Semper, we use liquidity to align the interests of private companies, team members and investors. We help forward-looking companies attract and retain builders by giving them real ownership of the value they create. 

We created Semper because the start-up world has changed. Staying private longer has given companies the freedom to grow on their own terms. But it has also significantly increased “time to liquidity” for the team members who create much of the value. Companies should be able to remain private while enabling those builders to benefit from the wealth they create - aligning incentives and encouraging greater growth. 

In order to do this, Semper has pioneered venture liquidity finance to help companies unlock their biggest asset – equity – for their other biggest asset – their team members. This ensures everyone stays aligned on long-term value creation.

Companies may worry that recurring liquidity events will be complicated to manage- but they shouldn’t. Semper’s Team Liquidity Programs make it seamless for teams to have the opportunity to de-risk and benefit from their hard work, while keeping their company’s captable simple.

We believe that team members are the unsung heroes behind many iconic companies’ success. Hence, our goal is to empower companies to share their wealth on fairer terms.
