Sepahan Oil Company (SOC) is an independent oil refining firm based in Tehran, with refining facilities in Isfahan. Founded in 2002, it began trading on the Tehran Stock Exchange in 2013. Its annual capacity surpasses 700,000 metric tons, positioning SOC as the largest producer and supplier of premium Group I base oil in the Middle East. Operating under the Speedy brand, it is also a major producer of diesel and engine oils in the region. The company’s portfolio includes engine oils, industrial lubricants, gear oils, greases, antifreeze, paraffin wax, heavy slack wax, and base oil SN500. It has received national and international awards and holds multiple certifications, including ISO standards for quality, safety, and environmental management.
