Sequoyah School is an independent, coeducational K-12 day school based in Pasadena, California. Founded in 1958, it pursues an education that challenges the mind while supporting character development and human dignity. The curriculum emphasizes experiential, project-based learning in mixed-age classes, with instruction paced to students' development and a focus on deep conceptual understanding and skill mastery. A collaborative faculty cultivates multiple perspectives and personalizes teaching through ongoing professional development, while the school community reflects Southern California's diverse backgrounds. In 2025, the H2 Grand Prix team qualified for the World Championship, illustrating participation in hands-on, project-based programs beyond the classroom.
