Serenity Behavioral Health Systems (SBHS) began providing mental health, addictive disease and developmental disability services to the Richmond County community in 1974. SBHS has been a long, standing behavioral health provider of the Division of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD). Despite the numerous changes and challenges in the field of behavioral health over the years, we have continued to demonstrate dedication to serving the individuals in the community with a mission to provide the highest quality Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities care in a professional, responsive and caring manner, which is valuded by individuals, families, communities, and employees.
