Activities while working with Sierra on the Lockheed Po Sheng Program:

I have been working with the Network Engineering department as a Senior Network Engineer.  I have been installing new sites coming online for the last three years.  The network now has over 75 sites spread over the entire Taiwan Island.  I have also been working with the Radar Integration team rolling out the Radar Tracking Subsystems utilizing new Multicast communications between the 16 Radar sites and the five major operating centers.   This integrates with the Common Tactical Picture application that interoperates and correlates with the other legacy systems currently being used.  I updated the Network Routers, and Switches with Multicast configurations that allow the systems to communicate while reducing the network traffic from the previous unicast implementation.

I have also worked with the Software team to test and implement new software builds containing updates to all the C2, and Enterprise applications.  

I work on the Taiwan in-country network reconfiguring the physical connectivity T1 and OC3 connections to support new applications.  These activities included reconfiguring the networks logal ATM connectivity and QoS configurations to support the new applications and their service level requirements.  I also perform network tests to ensure that the baseline functionality and performance is retained after the network upgrade.

I also work closely with the in-country communications engineers to install new circuits providing connectivity to sites coming online.  This usually involves trouble shouting issues that often cross multiple organizations and communications providers.
