The team, goals, and principles which epitomize Service Level Corporation stretch back more than twenty years. The organization has its roots in Lynn-Arthur Associates, Inc. Founded in 1980, Lynn-Arthur served cellular and telephone companies until 1997 when it was acquired by CableData Inc., the dominant cable TV billing and customer care system provider in the world. It was renamed to CableData Telecommunications, Inc.

In 1999 CableData Telecommunications in Ann Arbor, MI was transferred to CableData's California headquarters. Rather than move, much of the staff in Ann Arbor became the founders of Service Level Corporation.
