Founded in 1965 as a one-room schoolhouse, Seton Montessori School has served countless children and families from the western suburbs of Chicago. We now serve children from infants through age 12 year-round on our 6-acre campus. Seton Montessori School proudly serves as a Lab School and homebase for Seton Montessori Institute. Seton Montessori Institute (formerly MECA-Seton) has prepared thousands of Montessori educators in the United States and around the world. For new teachers and experienced educators, parents and school administrators, Seton Montessori Institute offers a wide range of programs. We offer AMS credentials at the Infant-Toddler, Early Childhood, and Administrator levels, as well as professional development seminars, paraprofessional courses, and consultation services for Montessori schools and teacher education programs around the world.
