Settlement Services International (SSI) is a national not-for-profit organization that provides human and social services. Operating with community at the center of its work, SSI seeks to empower individuals, families and communities from diverse backgrounds to participate in Australia's economic, social, civic and cultural life, supporting a more equitable and inclusive society. Based in Sydney, New South Wales, the organization expanded its eastern footprint after integrating Access Community Services in 2018 and opening a Victorian office that year. SSI partners with federal and state government departments and agencies, community-minded businesses, and individuals, and it builds relationships with domestic and global human-service organizations and other not-for-profits. As an umbrella for 15 migrant resource centres, multicultural services and specialist human-services agencies, it coordinates program delivery, advocacy and sector development. A recent development includes a 2025 partnership with Cultural Perspectives Pty Ltd to collaborate on refugee-focused community development initiatives.
