Mission: To provide healing for children, adults and families affected by sexual assault and to end sexual violence through counseling, education and advocacy.

The Sexual Assault Center is dedicated to fighting the epidemic of sexual violence and its effects on the individuals and families affected. Since opening our doors in 1978, S.A.C. has created a safe environment where each year men, women and children find support, counseling and healing. Our specially trained therapists create individual treatment plans using a variety of proven practices for each client. With the knowledge that sexual violence is a preventable crime, educating students and adults through our primary prevention programs, engaging with state and U.S. legislation for the benefit of survivors and changing cultural norms is a top priority. We have been recognized for our work to end sexual violence; most recently by the NSRVC as a recipient of the 2015 Visionary Voice Award.
