Shaarey Zedek is a religious institution operating as a large Orthodox synagogue serving the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles. It provides a full range of daily and weekly services, including two daily morning services, afternoon services at sunset, and multiple Shabbat, Yom Tov, and Sunday services, along with a variety of adult education and youth programs. The congregation supports a vibrant community through a Beis Midrash, a 400-person sanctuary, and extensive event spaces, including a remodeled social hall and large kosher kitchen, with La Gondola as the exclusive caterer for events. Its activities target Orthodox Jewish families and individuals seeking religious study, communal worship, and youth engagement, backed by affiliated committees and several scholar-in-residence programs. Based in Valley Village, California, Shaarey Zedek operates within the broader Orthodox Jewish community and is affiliated with the Union of Orthodox Congregations (OU). The congregation emphasizes family life and community services through its Sisterhood, Chesed, and Hachnosos Orchim committees. }
