Shanahan (1932-2016). Mr. Shanahan worked in the transportation and logistics industry since he graduated high school in 1950, working for the Katy Railroad. Bob then served our country in the U.S. Army logistics core during the Korean War. Following his return home, he started working for Western Freight Consolidators, and then Cooper-Jarrett Freightways as a sales representative and Terminal Manager, then with Quinn Freight Lines as a sales manager. Bob joined a local brokerage firm in 1980, and in 1989 he founded Shanahan Transportation Systems, Inc. with his son Tom. Since then, we have held firm to our commitment to our customers and carrier partners to build long term relationships – some are still in place today. We never forget that our company is built on service to our customers. Today, we boast one of the most experienced sales and operational personnel in the industry. Our people are what set us apart, former traffic managers, directors, and operations staff with more than 100 years of combined experience in the logistics industry.
