Sharjah Art Foundation is a cultural institution based in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, dedicated to contemporary art. It serves as an advocate, facilitator and producer of the field, organizing flagship programs such as the Sharjah Biennial and the annual March Meeting, along with ongoing exhibitions, education and community outreach. Its activities also include grants, artist residencies, commissions and publications aimed at expanding access to and understanding of art. The foundation seeks to foster a shared understanding of art's role in society.
It is a mid-sized organization within the cultural sector, including museums and historical sites. In 2026 it launched Radial Histories, a six-part audio miniseries that revisits lesser-known histories of visual art in Sharjah and the wider UAE from the 1960s to the early 1990s.
