Shaw Polymers is a family-oriented business which has provided exceptional, quality service to the plastic industry for over 20 years. Jim Adams, the proud owner of Shaw Polymers, has been involved in distributing plastic raw materials for almost 25 years. During these years of service, Jim has established a reputation with industry-level material producers as well as customers for being dependable and professional. Shaw Polymers’ relatively small team of employees has over 250 years of combined experience within all aspects of the plastic industry including the distribution, production, and manufacturing of plastic goods.

Shaw Polymers was established in 1997 in the coastal town of Guilford, Connecticut. Jim and Carrie Adams acquired full ownership of the company in 2011 and moved the corporate headquarters to the central region of the United States soon afterwards. Shaw Polymers’ main office is located in the small, quaint town of Crown Point, Indiana, approximately 30 miles outside of Chicago. Additional sales offices are located throughout the United States in order to serve every region of North America.

The company’s values are reflected by the family morals instilled in the Adams family. The Adams treat all customers, producers, and employees as an extension of their family and encourage all employees to do the same.
