I'm a Certified Public Accountant that has been practicing accounting and taxation since 1992.

Prior to founding Sheilah Smith CPA, I was a Sr. Manager with Deloitte Tax LLP managing international assignment engagements with fortune 500 companies and the coordination of client services with worldwide Deloitte offices. Her work included tax services for US inpatriate, expatriate and high wealth individuals as well as client representation before the IRS.  Sheilah's industry experience includes KPMG, Arthur Andersen, PriceWaterhouse and Frito-Lay.  

I graduated from the University of Maryland Europe with a Bachelor's in Business administration in 1990 and from Arizona State University in 1994 with a Masters in Taxation.  She is licensed by the Texas and Arizona State Boards of Public Accountants and I am a member of the AICPA, DFW Women's Executive Network, e Women Network and the McKinney Chamber of Commerce.

I am committed to providing close, personal attention to all clients and I offer cost effective tax and accounting services to both individuals and small businesses.  I understand how frustrating it is to feel lost in the crowd.  That is why I give the same attention to all clients, no matter how large or small.
