Shellback Semiconductor Technology is the result of a collaboration between OEM Group, Inc. and RITE Track, combining roughly five decades of experience in semiconductor equipment. The company provides new and remanufactured semiconductor capital equipment along with related services to support both emerging and legacy markets across a broad mix of applications, including LEDs, MEMS, wireless, power, energy harvesting, data storage, analog, and logic. Headquartered in Coopersburg, Pennsylvania, and launched in 2021 under President and CEO Wayne Jeveli, Shellback serves a global customer base and counts over 600 customers worldwide. 

The group maintains a global footprint with facilities around the world and offers a range of proprietary platforms and wafer handling and inspection capabilities. A recent development is the acquisition of Tokyo Electron's Mercury product lines in November 2023, followed by expansion of its Pennsylvania operations to design and manufacture Mercury+ systems and to provide parts and support.
