Shenandoah County Public Schools is a public education system serving the PK–12 student population in Woodstock, Virginia, located in the Shenandoah Valley along the I-81 corridor. The district oversees ten schools—three elementary, three middle, three high schools, and one career and technical school—and supports a sizable workforce that educates about 5,630 students. The district aims to create a positive, engaging learning environment and backs its staff with professional development, a mentoring program for new teachers, and tuition reimbursement. As part of Virginia's public K–12 system, the district serves Shenandoah County from its Woodstock headquarters. In November 2024, the district appointed Larry Vance to serve as interim District 5 school board member.
