Shepherds Hill Academy (SHA) - Greater Atlanta, GA Area - is a Residential Christian Boarding School Transforming the Lives of Teens in Crisis. Shepherds Hill Academy uniquely offers a Therapeutic Wilderness environment. Its campus is located in Georgia where the ministry helps teens who are dealing with behavioral difficulties. Shepherds Hill Academy is a loving, Christian therapeutic wilderness style program and accredited school with a focus on person-to-person mentoring and spiritual and biblical counsel. The program intentionally uses the outdoors and primitive living as an alternative to conventional treatment environments, removing modern distractions, and simplifying choices. Each resident at Shepherds Hill Academy is taught survival techniques, teamwork and valuable back-to-basics life lessons in nature, right along with furthering their education and gaining biblical knowledge. Students learn to look to God for life direction, accept responsibility for personal decisions, address individual and family issues, and become invested in their own personal and academic growth.
