Shopikon is an independent guide. All shops have been hand-picked by our editors, and did not pay to be featured. With an eye for a well curated selection of items, quality products, and distinct philosophies, these restless explorers have hit the streets in all kinds of weather to find the cream of the shop crop.

Rather than favoring any particular category of store, we aim to provide a broad selection of what a city has to offer. From vintage boutiques to Japanese butchers, from traditional institutions to avant-garde design, the assortment is diverse.
