The Sierra Nevada Alliance is a regional environmental nonprofit based in South Lake Tahoe, California, dedicated to protecting and restoring Sierra lands, water, wildlife, and communities since 1993. Its purpose is to elevate and support Sierra ecosystems and communities, and its mission centers on uniting people and organizations to safeguard these environments. 

It works with a network of partners on conservation and stewardship initiatives, including participation in the Great Sierra River Cleanup alongside other organizations. In September 2023, the alliance expanded its leadership with two new roles in Community Engagement and Communications and in Development. These actions illustrate the organization's ongoing commitment to uniting diverse stakeholders to protect Sierra Nevada ecosystems and communities.
