Sikkema Malloy Jenkins is a New York City-based gallery representing more than thirty international artists whose practices span painting, drawing, installation, photography, and sculpture. The roster includes long-standing artists such as Kara Walker, Vik Muniz, and Arturo Herrera, and many of the gallery’s artists have earned major honors including MacArthur, Guggenheim, and USA Artists awards. A number of the gallery’s artists have participated in prominent international exhibitions, including the Venice Biennale, the Whitney Biennial, and the São Paulo Art Biennial. Based in Chelsea, New York, the gallery relocated from Soho in 1999 after its 1991 founding as Wooster Gardens. Its leadership history includes founder Brent Sikkema, with Michael Jenkins joining as Director in 1997 and becoming a Partner in 2003, and Meg Malloy joining in 2002 and becoming a Partner in 2005. The organization operates with a relatively small staff, consistent with a boutique gallery.
