Silicon Light Machines, a SCREEN Holdings Company, is located in San Jose, California, the heart of Silicon Valley. Here, we design and manufacture the Grating Light Valve products. Our facility includes a class-10 clean room for wafer processing and labs for testing devices and modules. Additionally, there are dedicated labs for developing electronics and optics. Our name “Silicon Light Machines” reflects the core technologies embodied in the Grating Light Valve: Silicon to highlight the robust material set, Light to describe the field of use and Machines to underscore the mechanical nature of the GLV.
