A family business established in 1977, Simcote is one of the original companies formed to exclusively epoxy-coat and fabricate reinforcing steel, or rebar. Our second-generation business comprises over 60 years of experience in the construction industry. Simcote has delivered over 1 million tons of fabricated epoxy-coated reinforcing steel to contractors around the country. We select, buy, coat, bend and ship rebar to ensure a quality product each and every time. Our coating lines are designed to coat reinforcing steel to the highest standards, and we are actively involved in the concrete reinforcing industry, helping to promote industry standards. We recently developed a unique system for coating coiled rebar, reducing the lead time to process and fabricate spiral orders, saving contractors time and money without sacrificing quality or performance. Simcote also maintains an extensive inventory of coated rebar to ensure timely delivery.
