Sisters in Crime (SinC) was founded in 1986 to promote the ongoing advancement, recognition and professional development of women crime writers. Since our founding, we have expanded our mission to support other marginalized voices. We have members throughout the world.

SinC is an organization where all writers belong.

With over 5,000 members worldwide, and 50+ chapters, we support our vibrant community through advocacy and education. We are open to writers at all stages of their writing career, from those who are just starting out to multipublished authors.
