The Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth – Holy Family Province is a religious congregation of vowed women dedicated to extending the Kingdom of God’s love, particularly within families. The U.S. province supports this mission through active ministry in schools, hospitals, parishes, prisons, and social service agencies, with a regional presence across several states and its provincial headquarters located in Des Plaines, Illinois. As part of a larger international community, the order comprises about 165 sisters in the United States and engages alongside over 800 lay associates spanning 16 countries, including locations in Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and Africa. The organization operates within the Religious Institutions industry, positioning itself through charitable service and faith-based outreach, while maintaining its roots in a global congregation founded to serve families and foster spiritual care. A recent development noted is the departure of Tammy Townsend Denny from a leadership role within Nazarethcsfn, reflecting ongoing organizational changes within the community.
