Skaggs is a New York City brand strategy and creative studio for brands in beauty, fragrance, wellness, and human health. We help brands close the gap between what they are worth and what they currently communicate. Most of the brands we work with already have what they need: a founder credential, a formulation, a category history, or an origin that no competitor can legitimately match. Our work is to uncover it, name it, and build the verbal and visual architecture to carry it. We work in four stages, in sequence. The Gap Analysis uncovers the gap, names The Leak, and defines the Pivot. Brand Essence establishes the foundation. The Creative builds the verbal and visual architecture on top of it. The Growth Partnership sustains and compounds the work. Each stage builds on the one before it. Our background is in architecture. Our methodology reflects it: foundation first, structure second, aesthetics last.
