Skinner Leadership Institute is a unique organization that serves business, political, young leaders and clergy leaders across the nation, and brings together leaders of diverse races and cultures seeking reconciliation based on the teachings and lessons of Jesus Christ. The organization’s vision is to raise up a new generation of Christ-centered leaders who are excellent spiritually and in the work they do. This vision came to Dr. Barbara Wiliams-Skinner and her husband, the late Tom Skinner, a former Harlem New York gang leader turned evangelist, pro sports chaplain, and author.

Skinner Leadership Institute coaches, trains and equips leaders in our nation, the church, and among youth, to become committed to moral and technical excellence, reconciliation and empowerment of the economically underserved and spiritually neglected to impact and influence their communities and the world. 

Skinner Leadership Institute is led by Dr. Barbara Williams-Skinner, a lawyer and ordained minister with a Doctorate of Ministry. Dr. Williams-Skinner herself, a product of a neglected California urban area, has become a leader of leaders across the nation, a bridge-builder across the racial divide, and a voice for the voiceless here and around the globe. She is called upon by leaders for spiritual guidance as she is known to live a life rooted in prayer.
