SmartSenseCom (SSC) delivers innovative systems for detection, measurement, and control.  The company has a deep technical base in optical sensing and measurement built on a technology developed by the United States Naval Research Laboratory.  While the company can adapt this platform to a wide range of applications, it has two emerging product lines in Acoustic and Vibration Sensing and Electric Power Monitoring and Control.
 
SSC’s high performance microphones and accelerometers provide exceptional sensitivity and low frequency measurement and are inherently more robust in outdoor and operational environments.   These breakthrough systems greatly improve the performance of tunneling detection, drone detection, perimeter security, structural dynamics, equipment monitoring, product test and evaluation, and other demanding applications.

Similarly, the company’s electric power monitoring systems provide revolutionary improvement in the measurement of electric phenomena in the transmission and sub-transmission environment, providing significantly better information, faster, with a much simpler and safer system.  SSC’s systems help safely and effectively integrate microgrids and alternative energy sources, provide truly synchronous wide-area measurement, enable accurate measurement and control of bi-directional power flows, optimize dynamic line rating (DLR) systems, and detect destabilizing geomagnetically induced currents (GIC).
