SNS Nano Fiber Technology LLC is a producer of specialized nanofiber matrices.  Using proprietary technology, a variety of polymer nanofibers can be fabricated.  Nanofiber layers can be spun directly onto a substrate, such as a nonwoven or perforated film.  Thicker mats can also be produced that are self-supporting without the need for a substrate. Particles can be entrapped in the nanofiber matrix or encapsulated within the nanofibers. Many additives can be incorporated in the nanofiber products, such as superabsorbent particles, antimicrobials, drugs, APIs, pigments, vitamins, proteins, and so on. With so many different polymer options and functional additives available, the possibilities for new nanofiber products are endless.
SNS Nano Fiber Technology is certified to the ISO 13485:2003 (w/Design) and ISO 9001 (w/Design) International Quality System Standards.  The entire quality system was audited and certified by Smithers Quality Assessments Inc. (SQA), a leading independent accredited registrar.
SNS Nano Fiber is part of a family of companies, which includes Struktol Company of America (www.struktol.com), Schill+Seilacher "Struktol" GmbH (www.struktol.de) in Hamburg, Germany, Schill+Seilacher GmbH (www.schillseilacher.de) in Böblingen, Germany, and Struktol Canada, Limited.  Utilizing Struktol’s experience with additives and the polymer expertise of the University of Akron, we have developed a unique niche that did not formerly exist within the realm of nanofiber production.
