What is the Social Media Club of Johnson County?

The Social Media Club mission is to educate our community about social media. If you have an interest in social media, or think you might, this organization is for you.

Trying to figure out how to leverage social media in your business? One of our primary goals is to enable businesses to leverage this new, exciting, and ever changing tool.

Our belief is that in order to leverage social media to its fullest potential, knowledge is the key. In social media, the best way to educate and gain knowledge is through interaction and collaboration, whether this is online, offline or in person. Our goal is to educate from the basics to an in depth understanding of social media functionality. What does this mean for you as a member? It is having a resource to help you navigate this “new media,” gain understanding of the dos and don’ts, and most of all, learn from one other’s successes rather than feeling like you are swimming in the social media sea alone, without even a life preserver in sight.

From the early adopters to late bloomers, and everyone in between, joining the social media club of Johnson County is the first step in educating and engaging our community through social media.
