The Society for Information Display is a professional association in the display industry, based in Campbell, California, that brings together scientists, engineers, corporate researchers, and business professionals. Founded in 1962 to promote display technology, SID publishes the Journal of SID, Information Display magazine, and the Digest of Technical Papers, with online access available to members. Its annual Display Week is the world's largest technical symposium and exhibition for emerging display technologies, attracting more than 200 exhibitors and over 7,000 attendees from more than 50 countries.
