Solent Stevedores is an award-winning specialist Port Terminal Operator with long term contractual activities in the Port of Southampton, the Thames, DP World London Gateway, the Port of Immingham, the Port of Jersey, Saint Malo and Singapore. With a dedicated and experienced permanent workforce of over 200 employees, Solent Stevedores is a market leader in the provision of port services in the UK. The Head Office is located in Dursley, Gloucestershire. 

The company has three principal areas of port service activity:

•	Cargo Operations.  We provide stevedoring, storage and re-handling of fresh produce, dry bulk, general cargo,  and project cargoes in the Ports of Southampton, Immingham, Jersey, on the River Thames, and in Saint Malo, France.

•	Cruise Services.  In the Port of Southampton, we specialise in the provision of a wide range of port services to a number of established cruise operators including all Carnival group companies, Fred Olsen Cruise Lines, Norwegian Cruise Lines, and MSC Cruises.  During 2019 we handled some 450 cruise ship calls in the Port of Southampton. At Marina Bay Cruise Centre, Singapore, we handled circa 250 cruise calls each year. 

•	Container Services. In the Port of Southampton, we operate Solent Rail Termina, an intermodal rail terminal at 109 berth. Following a major infrastructure upgrade, the site can handle up to 15 intermodal services daily, we also provide maintenance and repair, container storage, and in-dock shunting services. At DP World London Gateway we offer empty reefer and container storage, maintenance and repair services.
