Solid Waste Solutions Corp. (SWS) is a nationally recognized, environmental consulting firm that provides innovative waste and recycling consultative services worldwide.  SWS has a demonstrated history of helping our clients around the world reduce their “waste footprint” and manage their businesses in a more efficient and environmentally sustainable manner.

Most people by now are familiar with the 3 R’s of waste minimization called the waste hierarchy – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.  SWS is part of a growing effort within the environmental sustainability discipline that works on the “fourth R” – Rethink.  Our core business is to rethink processes, technologies and behaviors to find solutions to our customers’ problems with managing their wastes and recyclables.

The issues we help with include: high disposal costs or low recycling revenues, finding outlets for hard to recycle materials, finding alternative treatment technologies, evaluating work flow and logistics that lead to current waste volumes, planning for a new facility, or searching for a beneficial use for by-products

These are among the many topics that we deal with daily.  SWS doesn’t promote any one technology or vendor.  We evaluate each opportunity on a case-by-case basis and determine the best solution for each situation.

Anyone who throws anything away of sufficient quantity is a potential customer.  Our customers come from all industries including: U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, various agencies and departments within the federal government (EPA, VA, GSA, Department of the Interior, Army Corps of Engineers, Architect of the U.S. Capitol, Smithsonian Institution), state and local governments, manufacturers, schools and universities, hotels and resorts, restaurants, hospitals, office buildings and property managers, architects and building designers, and more.
