The Somerset County Educational Services Commission (SCESC) is a public educational agency based in Bridgewater, New Jersey. Established under New Jersey Statute Title 18A, it coordinates cooperative approaches to education, administration, and financing. The state requires school districts to provide instruction and supports to all students, and SCESC supports that mandate by enabling shared programs across districts. Since 1978, SCESC has delivered shared educational programs and services to Somerset County and nearby districts that are unable to offer certain academic programming or services on their own. The organization continuously adapts its offerings to address the evolving needs of schools and their students.
