The Marshall Digital Patent (MDP) implements 'fragging' not 'streaming'.  Patent 8,719,946 issued May 6, 2014.
The MDP uses 'fragmenting or fragging' and thereby lowering bandwidth as much as 90% and delivers either WAV or MP3 files.  With the WAV option, content is delivered at 41,100khz and 32 bits allowing a very high quality listening experience - (As The Artist Intended - ATAI).  With the MP3 option, quality of course is much less, but what current users have learned to accept.  With MDP, this sacrifice is no longer required.  MDP will deliver WAV quality using no more bandwidth then MP3 does currently at equal prices (or free) as users enjoy currently. 
The patented concept basically eliminating piracy, the end-user (listener/viewer) will pay much less for recorded content whether WAV or MP3.  At the same time the Artist/Songwriter will once again receive their proper royalties and can monitor all royalties and plays in real-time.  Now, as if 12-21-2022 a 4th patent 11,204,980 B2 has been received.  This new 4th patent opens up Peer-to-Peer CUSTOMER DISTRIBUTION of their personally saved content of songs, movies, etc. received through the Marshall Digital Streaming technologies.
