SOS Outreach is a nonprofit organization focused on youth development through mentorship and an outdoor-based curriculum anchored in skiing and snowboarding. Since its founding in 1993, the program aims to help children and teenagers discover their potential by encouraging them to take on new challenges and develop lifelong skills. Its mission emphasizes changing young lives, building character, and developing leadership in youth who face risks through mentoring outdoors.

It operates in the non-profit sector and serves young people who face social, societal, or economic barriers. The programs are guided by six core values—courage, discipline, integrity, wisdom, compassion, and humility—that shape learning and daily operations. Based in Avon, Colorado, SOS Outreach has extended its reach to the Tahoe region in California, following earlier work in Colorado and Utah.
