South County Fire is a regional public-safety agency in Washington that delivers fire suppression, emergency medical services, public education, and fire prevention to more than 250,000 residents. Operating 14 stations around the unincorporated South Snohomish County area and the cities of Brier, Edmonds, Lynnwood, and Mountlake Terrace, the organization maintains around-the-clock operations. It is based in Everett, Washington. South County Fire is the largest Regional Fire Authority in the state. Annually, responders handle more than 35,000 fire and emergency medical calls. In June 2026, a construction contract was awarded to build Fire Station 22, marking facility expansion for the regional fire authority.
