South Lake Hospital is a community hospital serving the South Lake County area within the Hospitals and Health Care industry. It operates as a non-profit organization with a mission to improve the health and quality of life of individuals and communities, focusing on health, wellness and education through a patient-centered continuum of care from diagnosis to recovery. The LiveWell Campus comprises 180 acres and 122 beds, with more than 1,100 employees, providing a range of services including robotic surgery, diagnostic imaging, orthopedics, cardiac care, labor and delivery, outpatient surgery, rehabilitation, wound care and endoscopy, and hosting the Centre for Women's Health. The campus also houses the LiveWell Fitness Center and the National Training Center, which offer fitness programming for individuals and local businesses and provide youth sports programming and training for professional and Olympic athletes. Founded in 1947, South Lake Hospital has grown into a cornerstone of the South Lake community and received recognition in 2024 as one of the Best Hospitals and for mammography by the Women's Choice Award.
