Located on an 87-acre hilltop in West Seattle, South Seattle Community College offers a panoramic view of the city skyline and surrounding mountains. This unique setting serves as a portal of opportunity for students with diverse needs to prepare to meet their educational and career goals. South's primary objective is to help students achieve their professional dreams. For some, their dreams are reached through one of our academic programs (including two Bachelor Degree programs) while for others our courses offered in a vocational field can help their achieve their goals. No matter a student's aspirations, our faculty is committed to providing our students with support and individualized attention in a comfortable classroom setting. In addition to the main campus in West Seattle, South also has two off-site campuses: 1) Georgetown and 2) New Holly. Located in the heart of the So-Do (south downtown Seattle) industrial district, our Georgetown campus offers students an opportunity to train as an apprentice or learn new sustainability and “green” techniques at our 13-acre Georgetown Campus. The New Holly Campus, located on Beacon Hill, offers an array of programs and courses for English speaking and non-English speaking adults and youth seeking to improve their literacy and employ-ability skills in order to transition to college or entry-level employment.
