SouthBridge EMS was founded in 1971, and is the designated emergency ambulance provider for Bridgeville Borough, Cecil and South Fayette Townships. Our primary focus continues to be the delivery of high-quality emergency medical response and care to those communities. SouthBridge will also respond to neighboring areas - at their request - to provide mutual aid coverage of 911 calls. Our Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances are staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. In addition to emergency ambulance services, SouthBridge EMS provides a wide range of other services to our communities, such as medical coverage for school athletic events and other community programs (ambulance, bicycle, or all-terrain vehicle), community education (including CPR and First Aid classes), ambulance and station tours, school and daycare visits (including safety awareness) and medically necessary non-emergency ambulance transportation.
