In 1994, two families formed the Cremation Society of the SOUTH to offer an alternative to the high cost of cremation offered by funeral homes. By 1997 and after much demand for affordable burial options, SouthCare Funeral Homes was founded to offer a simple yet affordable alternative to the high cost of burial services offered by funeral homes. Today, SouthCare is the leading provider of cremation, memorial and burial services in Georgia with locations in Alpharetta, Marietta and Stockbridge.
