The SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) is a nonprofit, independent health care organization based at 3100 Channel Drive, Juneau, Alaska 99801. It provides a comprehensive range of health services, including primary, urgent and specialty medical care, dental services, behavioral health support, wellness programs and optometry, with a focus on delivering care closer to home and expanding access to advanced medical technologies. SEARHC operates in 27 communities across Southeast Alaska and runs two Critical Access Hospitals, employing more than 1,700 people. Established in 1975, SEARHC began contracting with the Indian Health Service in 1976 to manage the Community Health Aide Program under the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act. In 2026, SEARHC expanded with new locations in Juneau (Front Street urgent care) and Sitka (Mt. Edgecumbe Medical Center).
