Southeast Environmental Solutions, Inc. (SESI) furnishes a wide range of ecological/biological services to commercial businesses, the mining industry, and both public and private property owners. Services provided to the business community are based on knowledge of current environmental regulations administered by Federal, state, regional, and county agencies, property transaction requirements, ecological development practices, and local biological communities. The mutual respect between SESI and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the various Water Management Districts throughout the State of Florida, and county agencies forms the basis for successful project permitting and resolution of compliance issues. SESI assists clients in compliance with environmental regulations and permit requirements and in communications with the regulatory agencies in either the primary contact role or in a resource role. We also perform such services as expert testimony, prescribed burning, and small animal capture and relocation. The client's best interests guide SESI in controlling costs, schedules, and recommendations on land use, permitting strategies, and contacts with regulatory staff. Services routinely supplied by SESI include: (1) analysis and assessment of biological and ecological resources; (2) endangered and threatened species inventories; (3) habitat evaluations; (4) surveys of flora and fauna; (5) waters of the U.S. and waters of the State determinations and mapping; (6) current land use mapping; (7) transactional and compliance environmental audits; and (8) direction of or participation in environmental baseline surveys. Key personnel at SESI possess a combined experience base of more than 60 years in ecological systems ranging across the southeast United States. SESI can produce the work products in CAD and GIS.
