The Southeast Michigan Land Conservancy is a nationally accredited nonprofit based in Ypsilanti, Michigan, serving the Southeast Michigan region. It conserves natural land and open spaces, ranging from forests and wetlands to prairies and farmland, to create wildlife habitat and to enrich the public's experience of nature. Nearly 3,500 acres have been protected across six counties, with 18 nature preserves owned and 15 conservation easements held by the organization.

The organization pursues a mission to broaden biodiversity, protect air and water quality, and connect people with nature, addressing long-term goals to conserve land, enhance conservation values on protected lands, and strengthen ecological integrity in the region. A notable collaborative effort is the Superior Greenway, developed in partnership with the City of Ann Arbor, Superior Township, and Washtenaw County. As a nonprofit, SMLC maintains 501(c)(3) status and qualifies to receive tax-deductible conservation easements and land donations.
