SCANPH is a membership-based organization in the real estate field that supports developers and operators of affordable housing and advocates for their interests. Founded in 1985, it is based in Los Angeles and serves the Southern California region, including Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties. The organization aims to shape policy and secure public subsidies to foster an environment conducive to affordable housing and to help its members be more effective developers despite funding and resource challenges. SCANPH works to build the capacity of its members, educate policymakers and the public about the need for affordable housing, and help establish supportive policies and programs. Its members have produced tens of thousands of housing units across the region, providing homes and services to diverse groups such as the homeless, the disabled, the elderly, veterans, working poor, and low-income families. In May 2026, SCANPH announced the appointment of Kasey Archey to its Board of Directors.
