Southern Gear invests nearly one million dollars a year in new machinery, filling our shop floor with the state-of-the-art equipment in order to continuously improve our products, quality, cost and delivery.  Unlike some gear companies, Southern Gear is equipped to handle all gear-making operations in-house including turning, milling, grinding, and gear cutting/grinding.  The benefit to our customers is that their parts are produced in our plant, under our control, and under our AS9100 D certified quality systems.
