Southern Ground Atlanta Studio, founded in 2010 by three-time GRAMMY winner Zac Brown, operates as a recording facility located just outside Atlanta in Smyrna, Georgia. The studio emphasizes a built-from-scratch environment with a live room, a large isolation booth, and a custom-built echo chamber, supported by a knowledgeable staff and a diverse collection of gear. Its target customers are musicians and recording projects seeking a dedicated destination for tracking and production in a quiet, amenity-rich suburban setting. Positioned within the music production industry, the facility offers a purpose-built space for high-quality recording work, differentiating itself through its physical design and equipment. A recent development note is the ongoing operation of a standalone, professional recording environment in the Atlanta metro area, reflecting its continued presence in the field.
