Southern Lehigh School District is a public K-12 education system serving Center Valley and surrounding communities in the southern Lehigh Valley. The district operates five schools—the two elementary schools for grades K–3, an intermediate school for 4–6, a middle school for 7–8, and a high school for 9–12—and serves about 3,150 students. It serves families in Coopersburg and the rural townships of Upper Saucon and Lower Milford, and has been recognized for programs aimed at supporting student learning. Based in Center Valley, Pennsylvania, the district spans roughly 48 square miles in the Lehigh Valley, about an hour north of Philadelphia and two hours west of New York. In 2025, Karen Trinkle was appointed as substitute superintendent after the sudden administrative leave of the district’s superintendent.
