Southern Shade Tree Co is a construction company based out of 319 Oak Dr, Winona, Mississippi, United States. Founded in 1954 by Ralph E. Boone, Southern Shade Tree quickly became the leader in landscaping in the Charlotte and surrounding markets. Beginning in 1977, Roger Braswell grew the company by providing high-quality landscape services at a fair market value. Southern Shade Tree has been the landscaping choice for projects such as The Billy Graham Library, Carolinas Healthcare’s main campus hospital uptown, Bank of America Stadium, Morrocroft, Ballantyne and South Park Mall.

We continue to grow today through the leadership of Brent Lovett, who became President in 2006. Brent and his talented team of professionals have grown Southern Shade Tree into a one-stop shop for ALL your landscape needs. Our team strives to be the best at what we do and second to no one in the industry.

Southern Shade Tree prides itself in providing win-win solutions for customers and employees and always strives to create long-term relationships with both. We firmly believe that involvement in our local community is important for us and for those living in and around the Charlotte metro. The company is also committed to participation in global charity organizations like Give Hope Global, which provides education, food and medical services to those in need in Haiti, Ghana, and in the Charlotte area.

We are a lifetime member of the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET), as well as a certified landscape and irrigation contractor with licenses in both North and South Carolina.
