Southland Transportation Co was established in Dobson, North Carolina. The company began with 3 company trucks and one owner operator. Building on relationships established after years in the industry, Southland was able to begin operations by delivering auto parts from North Carolina to Ford and Chrysler automotive plants and returning with coil steel. From there, the business quickly expanded by adding owner operators and serving more of the automotive industry. We now serve a variety of customer segments each month across the lower 48 states and Ontario, Canada.
